The Department of Well-Being and Safety (DWBS) has extended its travel advisory into the Winter season, according to a Departmental spokesanimal.
The advisory, which was first issued on 21 Myrodia, warns Animals to exercise “extreme caution” when travelling to areas outside The Park “where there may exist hostile feelings toward Animals." Read more ..
Park faces "great" challenges as new Archons take office

The New Year will bring many challenges to The Park’s incoming group of Archons, says George Frederick Grouse, The Park's outgoing Chief (formerly King) Archon.
In an exclusive interview with The Mammalian Daily, the Grouse, who heads a group of 35 Archons, discussed a number of issues that the new government will face in the early months of its term. The new Archons, who will take office on 16 Proto, were selected through the process of sortition on 32 Karpouzi.

Maurizio Marmot, Chief Organizer of The Park's Groundhog Day celebrations, has confirmed that preparations for this year's event are "well underway."
At a press conference held today, the Marmot, who has held his post for the last 5 years, boasted that he fully expects this year's festivities to "exceed expectations." He refused, however, to confirm rumours that a number of gold medalists from the 26 AZ Interspecial Summer Games would be appearing at the celebrations. Read More ...
